Nov 17 to 30, 2013, a volunteer group of 22 from Singapore YMCA and River Valley High School came to Shanghai for volunteer service.
With the support of YMCA Shanghai, the volunteer group came to Qingpu Migrant primary school to paint colorfully the classroom walls with cartoon animals and helped install suspended ceilings of two classrooms. It is good for pupils to learn. The volunteers learned more about children¨s families and the school. They made good friends with children. Care and love was brought to those migrant children. This is a window to display the spirit of volunteer in YMCA. |
