On Jan. 22nd, YMCA/YWCA of Shanghai welcomed a delegation of 21 members from Hangzhou YMCA and Mishixiang sub-district office who came to Shanghai to learn experience of community management. General Secretary Mr. Wu Jianrong and Vice Secretary Mr. Yuan Ye accompanied the Hangzhou delegation to visit Huaihai Centre of Life Guidance, Luoshan Civilian Club and Dapuqiao Community Cultural Service Centre. The delegation was introduced to the community social service on special populations and the seniors. A discussion session was held in Dapuqiao Centre about sharing experiences on human resources, finance and management. Also,the operation of the newly established Shanghai YMCA Charity Foundation was also introduced to the delegation. YMCA/YWCA of Shanghai holds an open and selfless attitude to such exchange between two YMCAs from different cities and hopes that it would benefit both of the YMCAs.
